Although we have knowledge at the tips of our fingers in this modern age, myths and misconceptions still persist. That’s why it’s important for those of us who have specific knowledge to get the real facts and truths out there. As that knowledge propagates, the myths and misconceptions die out. That is my goal with this site and other social media sites: to spread real knowledge.

I also hope to transform the way that most people think about their cats. Memes are all in good fun, but when they perpetuate myths and misconceptions, they can be detrimental to our own relationships with cats. They cause us to see the cat as something it is not. They cause us to believe that cats have motivations that are human, and that’s problematic.

I hope you’ll join me on this quest to show the world the wonders of cats. And, as always, if you have questions, you can ask them in the comments, or on these social media sites:

  1. Thank you for your activism in educating cat guardians and others. I’ve also become very involved in the same kind of advocacy work over the past year, prompted by issues with my own kitty, Mitzy.

I’ve started a Facebook page: https:www.Facebook.com/CATAdvocate where I share information on many topics of feline care. I’m also a member of many cat sites that I find of value. (Not all are!) CatCentric is one of several that I can recommend.

I’ve donated to your GoFundMe fund.
